Retreat's schedule in Venice 2017

27th of September  to 3rd of October  2017

8 places available reservations starting 22th of April 2017

I started to program retreats in Venice because I really feel the desire to share our culture and lifestyle.
My aim is to make you discover a true Venice, secret corners, its culture and history so glorious. We'll go fishing with real fishermen, scroll through the hidden channels, taste wine in San Eramo's Isle ( an amazing white produced by a Frenchman) shopping at Rialto's market, cook dinners at home or dine in authentic restaurants. Sipping Prosecco in the vineyards with an astounding view, and more. The program is susceptible to change if I find anything better and depending on weather conditions but we'll always have something amazing to do.
The location is in the Venetian countryside, in one of the most beautiful glamping of the world, located in the garden of a Venetian villa dating from the VXII century. From this year they are adding 2 magnificent rooms for those who doesn't like the idea to stay in a tent ( thought lodges are very luxury and comfortable).
We'll go to Venice by private car and boat, the kind of boat depending on where we go. I offer a unique experience to go into Venice with a private boat that's not a gondola for tourists nor a taxi. We'll have small, traditional boats conceived to move into the channels, the same that real venetians use everyday and it wasn't easy to get this kind of experience, which I fell proud of.

                                       The program

Wednesday: After we have come to pick you up at the airport or train station and you have take some rest in your amazing room or tent we'll have  an 'Aperitivo' and a welcome dinner in the beautiful dining room.

Thursday: We'll move to Venice and go fishing with some true venetian fishermen while visiting secrets corners of the Laguna, we'll cook lunch in a very secret place, lots of Prosecco and fun guaranteed. Dinner in a local fine restaurant.

Friday: We'll go to the Rialto Market to buy gourgeous ingredients for our  dinner. After shopping we'll make a Bacaro tour ( wine shops that sell also cicchetti, the typical venetian appetizers) and after some rest in the afternoon we'll prepare a scrumptious  dinner with lots of fish and vegetables while learning secrets about venetian cooking.

Saturday: After  a delicious breakfast we'll head to Venice were a private boat will take us to the isle of St. Erasmo which is the vegetable garden of Venice. The Isle is known for the incredible quality of their products so we'll visit the only wine cellar in Venice, taste their amazing white wine and shop directly from farmers.
Then we'll visit Burano, the small fishermen's isle known for their colored houses, very pittoresque and enchanting, we'll have lunch in a typical restaurant and scroll down the isle tiny roads. If you have a passion for photos bring your camera!
Back home for some rest, dinner in a local restaurant.

Sunday:  We'll head again to Venice to visit another isle: Torcello. It has only 10 inhabitants and it is a real authentic corner of paradise. We'll take a guided tour of the isle, visit the church or a museum  and have lunch at the Locanda il Ponte del Diavolo that we very much appreciated during last tours. As it's a long day we'll come back to have some rest and have a class about making pizza at home.

Monday: Wine day! We'll move to visit the Prosecco area, have a tasting at one of the best producers and a fantastic picnic in a very special place among the vineyards. Dinner in a very good restaurant.

Tuesday: after breakfast it will be time to say good-bye. We'll accompany you at the airport or train station with a private car or taxi.

What's included:I think that not to have to think about money during your holidays is really relaxing, so from the moment you arrive till your departure you will not need to care about it as everything is included during your stay evn the bottles of water and Prosecco obviously.
